Agreed Earth works with farmers to monitor farm nutrient flow and pollution with state-of-the-art geospatial analytics and machine learning, enabling for targeted sustainable practices that rehabilitate the soil’s natural fertility and increase profitability.

Agreed formed during the first cohort of Carbon13 - the ‘venture builder for the climate crisis’ with a singular mission:

To move the needle on sustainable food production, moving the majority forward on the journey.

Agreed's mission in the project is to connect farmer participants with opportunities to earn via their quantified NUE improvement to other organisations who benefit from that improvement:

• water companies who don’t have to remove as much nitrate

• food companies who have a lower CO2e footprint for their Scope 3 emissions figures

• banks who can claim lower carbon risk exposure.

 

In addition to securing farmers with additional income revenue streams, Agreed will also be focussed on:

• Enabling study recruitment by finding new farmers who would like to participate in order to tap into this opportunity – water, food, banks we are working with become conduit for study recruitment 

• Expanding earning opportunities out to other potential payors – developers, insurance companies, etc. 

• Developing modelling to help farmers tap into multiple revenue streams from sustainability stacking
